Blending modern restraint with natural warmth, Saratoga Kitchen reimagines a once dark, subdivided kitchen, breakfast nook, and formal dining area into a luminous, open space conceived as the true heart of the home. Guided by the idea of the kitchen as a place where family naturally gathers, the design emphasizes openness, light, and connection. Our involvement spanned space planning, material, fixture, and finish selection, along with the design of custom white oak millwork, crafted in collaboration with local Amish artisans and showcasing their signature dovetail joinery. A central island with integrated storage anchors the room, while floating shelves and a bespoke glass-front bar cabinet add layers of utility and display. The result is a warm, inviting environment that balances contemporary simplicity with timeless craftsmanship—an elegant yet effortless setting for both daily rituals and shared moments.
